Sketch for Change! Art Competition 2025 drew over 140 budding artists from Primary Schools to Special Education Schools to unleash their creativity and transform their environmental vision into powerful art that inspires positive change in their schools and communities.

Theme: Reducing usage of disposables and food wastage

The theme for the art competition focused on waste reduction, exploring ways to avoid using disposable items and/or to reduce food waste. Participating students explored their own interpretations of the theme, creating unique art pieces that tell a story, share a message, or show solutions to inspire others to make a difference.

It portrays Earth as a fragile patient receiving a life-saving IV drip filled with symbols of sustainability like recycling, planting, and conservation. The oceanic background filled with coral and marine life entangled in trash, emphasizes the devastating impact of pollution. Through the contrast between destruction and healing, the painting calls for collective action and environmental responsibility.
