The Covid-19 pandemic underscored the need to maintain good public hygiene and cleanliness as the first line of defence against the spread of diseases. NEA’s Clean Public Toilets initiative aims to encourage public toilet users to practise good toilet habits to keep our public toilets clean and hygienic, and this is done by nudging users to do the 4 key actions of Flush, Clean, Bin, Dry - flushing toilet fully after use, keeping toilet seat clean, binning litter properly and keeping toilet floor dry.
This year’s campaign creatives take on the approach that a dirty toilet is a hauntingly unforgettable experience and to hone in on this feeling as a warning to what might happen if we do not follow clean toilet actions and to remind the public to practise the four clean toilet actions of "Flush, Clean, Bin, Dry" in order to keep the "toilet horrors" at bay.
