YES Explorer Zone: Youth Doing Their Part for Sustainability
Meet the young Singaporeans who saw an opportunity to make a difference and decided to do something about it.
Our YES Explorer Zone puts the spotlight on YES Leaders who took on real environmental challenges in their communities and came out with something remarkable to show for it. Their projects are bold, creative, and deeply personal, and every single one started with a simple decision to try.
Walk through the exhibition, hear their stories, and let their journeys spark something in you. You might just leave with an idea of your own.
While you are here, join our YES Sustainability Quest! Hunt for hidden clues tucked within the exhibits, answer questions based on what you discover, and rack up points for a chance to win exciting prizes. Fun for the whole family and a great way to dig deeper into the stories on display.
Workshops: Small Skills, Big Impact

Scented Mask Flowers — What if your old surgical masks could blossom into something beautiful? Upcycle expired surgical masks into handcrafted scented flowers that double as home diffusers or decorative displays. Surgical masks are made from polypropylene, a non-biodegradable material that takes hundreds of years to break down, so every flower you make is one less mask in the landfill. Leave with a gorgeous, fragrant creation and a fresh perspective on what waste can become! |

2.30pm – 3.30pm |
Magazine Wallet — Your next favourite wallet will not come from a store. Think twice before tossing that old magazine! In this hands-on workshop, you will discover how discarded pages can be woven and folded into a stylish, fully functional wallet you can use. Every wallet tells a different story depending on the pages you choose, making yours truly one of a kind. |
