Environment Fund for Schools
The Environment Fund for Schools (EFS) encourages MOE schools to champion environmental ownership and a pro-environment mindset amongst students and the community by leading and organising environmental initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
The EFS is available to all MOE/MOE-registered independent Primary and Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges and Centralised Institutes. Schools must organise all activities within any one of the three tiers listed in the table below. All applications must be submitted before 31 December of the calendar year that the activities were conducted.

Submit your completion report and photographs of the environmental activities in your school to apply for funding support.

1 The EFS is open to Pri/Sec/JC/Centralised Institute.
2 Qualifying activity in support of NEA’s programme/campaign will be conveyed to schools regularly and must be conducted between January and December of the calendar year unless otherwise communicated by NEA.
3 The environmental activities chosen must be conducted between January and December of the calendar year and must fulfil at least one of NEA’s strategic outcomes:

High Public Health Standards,

Safe, Healthy and Conducive Living Environment

Sustainable and Resource Efficient Singapore
-
Timely and Reliable Weather and Climate Services
-
Vibrant Hawker Culture.
The environmental activities chosen must also encourage either or both of the following:

Collaborations with partners and/or the community

Building Strong Environmental Ownership.
Disbursement Periods
The disbursement periods are shown below:

The grant will be disbursed according to the EFS disbursement months shown in the table above. Photographs for all activities must be submitted to NEA when the activities are completed.
